Pepper's Pantry started in a Lafayette, Louisiana kitchen with one dog, one mission, and zero certainty it would work.

My dog Pepper was the inspiration. She's the reason I started reading ingredient labels. The reason I got frustrated with what I found. The reason I decided to make something better.

"I couldn't find treats I actually trusted for her, so I made them myself."

What started as a few batches for one very spoiled dog turned into something bigger. Small-batch dog treats made with real ingredients, no fillers, no shortcuts.

But somewhere along the way, the treats stopped being the whole story. The real thing that kept growing was the community around them, dog owners showing up to meetups, events, and everything in between. So that's what we've leaned into. Pepper's Pantry is still the name on the bag, but these days it's less about what's inside it and more about who's gathered around it.
